Vineyard Wedding Inspiration at Providence Vineyard

Updated: May 11, 2021

Earlier this summer, we had the exciting opportunity to provide rentals and styling for a wedding-inspired styled shoot at the brand new Providence Vineyard events venue. For several months, this location had been on my wish list to get to visit; little did I expect the opportunity to be involved with a styled shoot there.

Rachael Kazmier, lead photographer with Grey Garden Creative, and Lauren Long, of Lauren Lucille Creative combined efforts to plan this beautiful styled shoot on what became a very hot summer day, filled with rainstorms, and 100 percent humidity! But, the photos captured of that day certainly help us forget about all that! These are the type of opportunities that we all hope to be part of!

Providence Vineyard offers a newly built all-white barn, filled with amazing chandeliers, a grand staircase, white, hand-rubbed and distressed entry doors, a marble-topped grand bar, accented with more beautiful chandeliers, bride and groom getting ready rooms, a covered outdoor patio, and a view of a beautiful vineyard. The large, light-filled main room is simply stunning.

Lots of windows and dramatic chandeliers accent the main ceremony area.

My initial thought when I started my design process was to incorporate pieces from our collection that felt cohesive with the vineyard. We incorporated vintage demijohns, (wicker wrapped wine bottles), that were styled along the aisle, along with a grouping of our vintage hooked rugs that blended with the color palette. Surrounded by candles, the nod to the vineyard was simple yet stunning, and the organic greenery backdrop was carefully designed by Klaudia Szymel, as if they were growing from inside the barn; see more about the beautiful floral creations next!

Using the organic citrus pallet, Klaudia, owner of Florist and Hound Design, also created the most stunning centerpieces for the farm table, the couples personal flowers, and the stunning runner for the sweetheart table, our Joy. The farm table was loaded with organic touches, using fresh grapefruit and oranges in the floral displays, while clay pots filled with topiaries were staggered along the tablescape design. Vintage china, flatware and stemware finished the design, all elements from our collection.

We paired our Joy Farm Table with two of our French Farmhouse style armchairs, Seafoam Mint, to create a sweetheart table package, and I can't even tell you how beautiful it was. Check out those vineyard pictures just before the rain!

While we watched for storms, we carried the Sweetheart table and chairs to our truck and drove it out to the vineyard, where we set up the table right in the middle of a row of bountiful grapes! I'm not sure I've seen a more beautiful backdrop as the big white barn, seen in the background of these vineyard shots!

Meanwhile, inside the bride's dressing room, we matched the color palette with lots of butterscotch, saffron, and apricot accent pillows. Rachael and Lauren created numerous detail displays using invitations created by XO Art and Design, shoes from Bellabelle Shoes, and florals. It's such an important part of wedding photos that you'll appreciate later; be sure your photographer includes these detail shots! We used one of our many vintage silver trays for the beautiful surface for this detail shot!

Talented bakery shop owner, Julie of Julie Michelle Cakes, styled the cake with florals on-site, and displayed it on one of our vintage silver pedestal cake stands. The two layer cake was so, so yummy, and we highly recommend this talented cake boutique owner. I've been following her for some time, and it was so great to finally meet her and taste her delicious creation.

Lounge seating options; add coordinating pillows and rug and your color palette and theme continues throughout your wedding.

Using our White Morrison Settee, I added coordinating pillows that worked beautifully with the color palette, and with another of our vintage hooked rugs, the Lounge seating area was complete! I am in love with these colors!

Tangerine, saffron, butterscotch pillows all accentuate the colors of the brides bouquet.

What's a celebration without the bubbly! This beautiful champagne wall from Bubbly Events Chicago was the perfect place to start the celebration!
