Hey, friends! A few weeks ago, we gathered with several talented vendors at an outdoor spot near Aurora, IL, and put together a beautiful styled shoot, with a Gaelic theme, using emerald green punctuated with lots of gold accents. It was truly elegant, with a touch of rustic, woodsy feel. Mixing the most elegant vintage rentals with rustic charm creates a memorable, one-of-a kind wedding, and these are our specialty. We want to make your day all about you!
Photographer and Planner, Alex Marquardt, @alexandraleephotography, captured the feel of this shoot beautifully, using many of our vintage rental pieces, including a rustic farm table, Louis XV settee, matching side chairs and an area rug to anchor the Lounge set, and we enjoyed bringing the extra accent pieces, the details, that make every event unforgettable. We love sharing our vintage treasures with brides, event planners, and anyone looking to set their special event apart from the rest!
With the old oak tree spreading it’s branches over a wide area of the chosen spot, we set up within view of the stately white fence, and created an inviting ambience for the fully set Harvest table, punctuated with gold candle holders and emerald tapers, a Battenberg table runner, gold-trimmed dinner plates, beautiful gold flatware tied with emerald green ribbon, and beautiful crystal goblets. Simple tabletop pieces, even for the main table, help carry the theme of Gaelic-inspired elegance.
The cake, designed by Candace at @cacaosweetsandtreats, was decorated with simple, rustic rosemary garlands, and set upon a gold cake stand! Have you thought about your dessert table? Sometimes, even the simplest vintage furniture piece can serve as your dessert table, draped with netting or lace.
